"We are pleased to announce the signing of the World Bank-funded Design, Management & Supervision Consultancy (DMSC) on 31 July 2024 between GKW and the Government of Assam, India,” says Shovan Ghosh, Country Director India at GKW Consult.
The main scope of the DMSC will be to support the Government of Assam in the augmentation of existing schools, the construction of multipurpose flood shelters and associated works, the construction of a Circle Quick Response Team (CQRT) equipment storage facility, infrastructural upgrades, and the development of a master plan to transform the central training institute into a modern, state-of-the-art facility, including all required social and environmental due diligence. The project will commence on 12 August 2024.
