Transition in Management at GKW Consult

After a long career spanning almost 40 years, Dr Christoph Theune retired as Managing Director of GKW Consult on 31 March 2024.

Throughout his professional life as an engineer, he assumed responsibility for large-scale infrastructure projects in challenging environments, took on leadership roles in various organisational settings, and successfully established long-lasting relationships within our sector of international cooperation. We would like to thank Dr Theune for his dedication to GKW Consult, which today is a highly respected name in our field. Over the past 12 months, Dr Theune, together with Patrick Kaminsky, managed the successful integration of GKW Consult into GFA GROUP.

We are pleased to announce that his successor will be Mr Christoph Grass. Mr Grass is an outstanding and experienced hydraulic engineer who has led many complex infrastructure projects across the globe and is also an accomplished business developer. Together with Patrick Kaminsky, Christoph Grass will guide the firm into a promising future, building upon and further developing the strengths and strong reputation that the company has acquired in our sector.

Dr Daniel Wahby from GFA GROUP Management, alongside Patrick Kaminsky, will assume management responsibilities during the short interim period until July 2024. GFA Group and GKW Consult assure all clients, experts, and colleagues of our continued commitment to excellence and reliability in service delivery.
