The Water Supply & Wastewater Department is a multidisciplinary team of around 20 professionals, including Project Managers, Project Engineers, Project Administrators and Recruiters. Working from headquarters and project locations worldwide, the team supports the entire project lifecycle, from business development and proposal preparation to the successful delivery of international water and wastewater infrastructure projects. As a member of the department, you will report directly to the Head of Department, who will support and guide your professional development.

Your tasks

Your profile

• Education: Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering or a comparable discipline.
• Professional Experience: At least 15 years of professional experience in international development cooperation, consulting and/or infrastructure projects.
• Technical Expertise: Proven expertise in the water and sanitation sector, with a focus on municipal wastewater infrastructure projects (i.e treatment plants, wastewater collection networks) incl. site supervision with experience in OHS, contracts & claims management, QAQC.
• International Experience: Experience working with national or local partner organizations and on international projects, preferably in Europe and Turkey.
• Donor Knowledge: Good knowledge of donor procedures, ideally for EU-funded and other IFI-financed projects.
• Languages: Excellent written and spoken English; additional language skills (e.g. French, Spanish or Turkish) are an asset.
• Digital Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and confident in working with databases.
• AI Literacy: Digital affinity and confidence in using modern AI-powered tools to enhance productivity and collaboration.
