The first day was entirely devoted to the big picture: “Where do we stand as a group of companies? What changes are currently shaping our environment – and what does that mean in concrete terms for our work?” In an open discussion on strategic initiatives, market trends and new requirements, it became clear: the challenges in the field of international cooperation are growing.
“But to the same extent, we as a group are systematically expanding our capabilities to tackle these challenges together: through greater synergies and collaboration with one another, with shared services, and a strategy that everyone can follow”, says Daniel Wahby, Head of Shareholding Management at GFA GROUP.
The meeting in Hamburg marked a first milestone following the GFA GROUP’s reorganisation in the summer of 2025: With a new brand identity and a stronger role for GFA Holding, which acts as a strategic control centre and service provider for all members. This reorganisation has proved its worth – benefiting all members of the group. Alongside GFA Holding, these include GFA B.I.S., GKW Consult, GFA SysCom, HEAT and Projekt-Consult, as well as GFA Consulting Group with its subsidiaries GFA Certification and GFA South East Europe.
On the second day of the meeting, the focus was on service delivery: in mixed groups, intensive work was carried out on how collaboration within GFA GROUP can be put into practice even more effectively in future – from joint market approaches and new business models to more efficient processes in business development and project implementation.
“What made both days special was not only the depth of the content, but above all the atmosphere: open, constructive and characterised by a clear determination to drive things forward together”, says Daniel Wahby. Conclusion of this meeting: GFA GROUP continues to grow closer together – with many ideas, clear next steps – and a shared commitment to further strengthening our impact worldwide.
