Ever since 2020, GFA has fully subscribed its strategy towards developing solutions to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Building on a strong technical base in our strategic business areas, we are using our innovation potential to adapt to changing environments and seize opportunities for improvement across the group.

We contribute to the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

The companies of GFA GROUP provide consulting services for development projects across a broad range of strategic business areas that contribute to the joint efforts of achieving the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations, the European Union, and the Government of Germany. There is a growing interest of our clients to streamline monitoring and reporting towards sustainability impacts and SDG reporting. We have started preparing for deeper engagement in this field since 2020, developing solutions towards the SDGs with a strong focus on climate & environment, people and governance.

GFA is a signatory of UNGC

All GFA GROUP member companies are fully committed to implementing the Group’s sustainability strategy, introduced in March 2025, with a focus on climate, people and governance.

GFA Consulting Group became a signatory to the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC) in February 2018. In January 2025, GFA Holding AG, the shareholder of all GFA GROUP’s subsidiaries, assumed responsibility for participating in the UNGC on behalf of the entire Group. This step ensures that all GFA GROUP companies are aligned with the principles of the United Nations Global Compact.

Through this commitment, GFA GROUP pledges to uphold integrity in its corporate governance and to conduct its business in a fair, responsible and sustainable manner.
