GFA SysCom has once again donated used IT equipment for social purposes. Shortly before Christmas last year, Support Specialist Stephan Danielewski handed over 13 laptops, decommissioned keyboards and other technical components to the organisation, which will use them for a project in Tanzania, among other things.
As a global aid network, Labdoo collects used and discarded laptops, refurbishes and distributes them – in a CO₂-neutral manner – to schools and educational projects in disadvantaged regions. The organisation's goal is to provide children and young people with sustainable, free and communal access to digital education.
Stephan Danielewski intends to continue working with Labdoo in the future. Donating discarded technology to social organisations has been a tradition at GFA SysCom, the IT service provider for the entire GFA GROUP, for many years. In 2024, for example, the company, together with GFA Consulting Group, donated 35 laptops to a Ukrainian aid project based in northern Germany.
